ID : 31739
« back to classes page
Explore the start of Area 51 as a CIA research facility for unconventional aircraft, how that activity spurred interest in the flying saucer legends, extraterrestrial aliens, and the lore that Area 51 has come to mean. Although Area 51 is off-limits to visitors, that does not stop the curious from coming up to its perimeter in search of answers to all the tales about it. The lecture contains science, history, and a bunch of fun! This class will be held virtually using Zoom. Participants can join from a computer or device with internet capability. This Zoom session will be streamed in Room 101 of the National Energy Center on the BSC campus for those who do not have internet capability and want to attend the class. Registration closes on July 24 at 12 PM.
