The Private Pilot Ground School is designed to teach those new to aviation the knowledge necessary to pass the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam. Participants will also gain the ability to apply that knowledge toward flight training for safe operations in the National Airspace System as a Private Pilot. In this course, students will study aviation-related topics including aerodynamics, aircraft instruments, airspace rules, weather, and how to plan a complete cross-country flight plan. The course will include the Jeppesen Private Pilot Guided Flight Discovery textbook, workbook, flight computer, plotter, and sectional chart to give students the resources needed to begin their aviation journey.
