In their fast-paced work environment, individuals often fail to see the impact their interactions with others have on their own success, their job satisfaction, or the success of the business.  In Interaction Essentials(sm) for Leaders, participant learn when and how to use interpersonal skills to prepare for, lead, and participate in a variety of interactions that are critical to accomplishing work goals.  Using these skills also helps individuals build stronger relationships with peers and team members and even outside work with family, friends, and the community.  This highly interactive web-based course takes less than one hour to complete, and is a prerequisite for many of the courses in the Interaction Management system.

Please read:  BSC has partnered with Interaction Management® web-based training to provide DDI's award-winning courses for frontline leaders and individual contributors. The highly interactive design and multimedia keeps learners engaged, and video-based skill builders with branching and immediate feedback provide opportunities for online application of the skills. Courses take two to four hours to complete, and bookmarking makes it easy for learners to complete the courses across multiple sessions.

Many courses allow learners to tailor their learning path by selecting the appropriate work environment. Resources such as job aids, Discussion Planners, and Development Action Forms are designed for ease of use back in the workplace. A special unit at the end of the course, such as the "Applying Your Skills" unit, provides additional tools and guidance for the learners and their managers to support ongoing skill application and development.
