The Basics of Yoga

Learn how your body moves and what you can do to enhance your lifestyle through some simple yoga poses. This class will help you find flexibility through modifications, improve your balance, relieve stress, and gain strength to help you live a better life. You will be lead in a series of basic yoga poses by a certified yoga instructor. All of this knowledge will be gained through easy to understand instruction. After this 6 week course, you will have the tools you need to enter any yoga class with confidence. There will also be time for meditation and some one-on-one instruction for better body awareness. Dress comfortably, in clothing that will move easily with your body. Yoga mats are available.

Please read:  Please bring a water bottle with you to stay hydrated. Mats are available and other equipment will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing that will stretch and move with you. Pants should be knee length or longer.
