CDL: Hazardous Material Endorsement Theory

This is an online, self-paced course that meets the FMCSA requirements for Hazardous Material Endorsement Theory. This course is three (3) hours in length and delivered online. Our CDL Instructor and program manager will be available to answer questions by email and phone. Upon successful completion of all training modules and an 80% or better on assessments, students will be eligible to take the ND State Hazmat Knowledge Test.

  • Routes and Route Planning
  • HM Safety Permits
Prerequisites: Current Class A Commercial Drivers License.

Access to the course will not be granted until the Class A CDL is submitted.

Instructions on how to access the class go out on Mondays and Tuesdays each week. Students will receive an email from jjkellerresponse@t.jjkeller.com with the subject line of J. J. Keller® Online Training Course Enrollment. Access to the course will expire after 14 days from the date access is granted. Once successfully completing the training and assessments, results will be uploaded into the FMCSA database within 2 business days and an electronic certificate of completion will be emailed to the student.
