This fast-track, two-week course offers a project-based introduction to safe welding practices. You will learn about Oxy-Acetylene Cutting (OFC), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) through a combination of lectures and hands-on lab work. The class will cover safety procedures, equipment use, joint types, techniques, consumables, and basic welding theory. This is a great opportunity for beginners to gain practical welding skills. Safety gear including gloves, glasses, jackets, and helmets are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own safety equipment if desired.
All participants must wear long pants and steel-toed boots.
