The Bismarck State College GenCyber Cybersecurity Academy is a 5-day camp for students entering grades 6-8. The academy is funded through a grant from the National Security Agency (NSA) and National Science Foundation (NSF), making it FREE of charge for 80 participants.
Experienced high school and college faculty will lead students through lessons and interactive cybersecurity activities. The program will focus on cybersecurity concepts and cover a number of topics including:
• Cybersecurity introduction and online safety
• Digital citizenship
• Hardware, operating systems, and programming
• Computer careers and concepts review
Breakfast, lunch and snacks included with camp registration.
