In this workshop, we’ll explore I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical) area classifications, which help define environments where hazardous materials like gases, dust, or fibers may be present, and how these classifications guide equipment safety. We’ll also cover biohazardous location ratings, ensuring safe practices in areas with biological hazards to protect both personnel and equipment.
Additionally, we'll dive into IP (Ingress Protection) ratings, along with Class, Division, and Group ratings, which provide essential guidelines for safeguarding equipment from environmental risks such as dust, water, and explosive atmospheres.
