Everyone loves Kuchen - the North Dakota German-Russian ethnic dish! Learn why kuchen is for Easter and how to create the perfect raised dough and custard, topped with your favorite fruit. There are traditions with this sweet German treat to delight and entertain you. We will be using Grandma Emma's recipe for the raised version of kuchen with your favorite fruit topping. Cost of registration includes supply fee, but participants need to bring 1 cup of their favorite fruit (rhubarb, apple, peach, apricot, pitted prunes or dry-curd cottage cheese) to class (frozen preferred), as well as a pie plate or a round 9 inch cake pan.
