T’ai Chi is a centuries old Chinese martial art that promotes calming, centering, and self-control, and what better place to learn the techniques than outdoors? A combination of meditation and physical exercise, T’ai Chi can increase energy, flexibility, balance, muscle strength and reduce stress. While learning about the twenty four forms of Yang Style, you will experience meditation in motion and enjoy a few beautiful summer evenings. This is a beginner class, no experience necessary! Please wear comfortable clothing to class. Also, please note that this class will be held outside; we recommend bringing bug spray/sun screen/hats to protect yourself from the elements. In case of inclement weather, the class will be moved indoors.
