Journey through Scotland’s six whisky regions without a passport! Dr. Amy Juhala, Scottish Historian, whisky connoisseur, and former resident of Scotland, will lead you through the centuries-old history of single malt whisky and introduce you to each region’s individual characteristics. Learn why Speyside malts are the lightest and sweetest and how Islay malts are made to be especially smoky and peaty. You’ll sample a signature malt from each region, accompanied by the Harvest Brazilian Grill’s special appetizers. Discover your favorite malt characteristics and learn how to pick a whisky that suits your palate, and walk away with your very own authentic whisky tasting glass. It will be a unique experience you won’t want to miss! Participants must be 21 to register. Registration closes November 8, and a supply fee of $10 is included with the class fee.
This class is sponsored in part by the Harvest Brazilian Grill, Mandan, ND.
