Belly Dance is a fun way to achieve flexibility, aerobic exercise and safe fitness—all while grooving to a cool beat! The cornerstone of this dance form is body isolations: shimmies, figure-8’s, undulations and more. You’ll learn basic belly dance movement, layering of footwork with dance elements, and beginning rhythms utilizing finger cymbals! Emphasis is on fun, safe movement and creating a supportive environment—no experience is necessary. A supply fee of $20 is payable at the time of class registration, and includes finger cymbal set. Please wear comfortable, easy to move in clothing.
