This class will examine Hamilton’s influence on early American government and finance, his complex public image, and the tragic duel that brought his life to an end.
Participants will also discuss the cultural impact and historical interpretation of Hamilton, including how the production portrays Hamilton as both a historical figure and a dramatic character.
The class will be followed by a screening of Hamilton on Friday, December 4 from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
