The horse racing industry generates billions of dollars and supports millions of jobs. This class explores how horses are selected for racing, the role of race tracks in safety and management, the variety of jobs within the industry, and highlights famous jockeys, notable horses, and some of America’s most iconic tracks and races. (Focus is on the business of racing, not gambling.)
